For Petitioner : Mr.T.Suresh in W.P.15510 of 2017 For Petitioner : Mr.T.Kannan in W.P.15509 of 2017 For Respondents: Mr.D.Vairamoorthy Special Government Pleader C O M M O N O R D E R Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

2. The prayer in W.P.15510 of 2017 is filed seeking for a mandamus, to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 03.06.2017 and register a FIR. Consequently, the prayer to file final report after investigation.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that she had given a complaint on 03.06.2017 to the second respondent herein on which no enquiry has been conducted till date.

4. When the writ petition was taken up, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that based on the complaint of the petitioner, enquiry was conducted and the same is pending.

5. On the other hand, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the second respondent is coercing the petitioner to settle the issue with her brothers.

6. Taking into consideration the given circumstances, I am of the opinion that it would be appropriate, if enquiry is conducted on one day in the presence of the parties to the dispute.

7. In the said circumstances, the petitioner as well as her brothers shall appear before the second respondent on 22.07.2017 at 4.00 p.m., and the second respondent shall endeavour to complete the enquiry on the same day and take further appropriate action.

8. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no orders as to costs.

9. In view of the order passed in this writ petition, the petition in W.P.No.15509 of 2017 filed by the Advocate of the petitioner in W.P.No.15510 of 2017 seeking for a similar relief is closed.
