O R D E R

(This case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences publishable under Sections U/s.341, 294(b), 323, 324 & 506(ii) IPC, in Crime No. 906 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant was standing in front of his house, due to previous enmity, the petitioner along with three other accused persons waylaid the defacto complainant and inflicted injuries with knife and threatened with dire consequences. Hence the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case and prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that due to previous enmity, the petitioner along with three other accused persons waylaid the defacto complainant and inflicted injuries with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

knife at hand and threatened with dire consequences. He would further submit that the victim has been discharged from the hospital and there are two previous cases pending against the petitioner, out of which, one is under section 302. However, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances, considering the submissions made by the learned counsels and the fact that the petitioner has two previous cases pending against him, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
