O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register a case on the complaint given by the petitioner on 11.09.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. It is seen that this petitioner has given a complaint dated 11.09.2015 to the Commissioner of Police, alleging that her husband is ill-treating her. It appears that earlier this petitioner had lodged complaints against her husband, in which enquiry is CSR.No.183 of 2015 was conducted by the All Women Police Station, Peravallur, Chennai in June 2015 and the same was closed, on the undertaking given by the husband that he https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

will not ill-treat his wife. After giving the undertaking, it is alleged by the petitioner that her husband continues to ill-treat her and hence she was forced to give a fresh complaint dated 11.09.2015 to the Commissioner of Police, Vepery, Chennai.

4. Be that as it may, this Court directs the petitioner to lodge a fresh complaint before the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Peravallur, Chennai and on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquired into and action taken in accordance with law.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
