ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., praying to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.106 of 2012 pending on the file of the second respondent-Inspector of Police, Thuthur Police Station, Ariyalur District, to any other investigation officer.

2. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the second respondent police has already completed the investigation and filed charge sheet on 20.12.2012 for the alleged offences under Sections 294(b), 323 and 325 of IPC and it was taken on file as C.C.No.83 of 2013 by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ariyalur, and subsequently, the case was transferred to the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Ariyalur District and re-numbered as C.C.No.40 of 2017 and case was posted for trial and summons were issued to L.W.1 to L.W.15.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the view that no useful purpose would be served by keeping the petition pending. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
