O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to enlarge him on Anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondent.

3. In the application seeking Anticipatory Bail, this Court earlier passed direction to the petitioner, to appear before the Investigating Officer and to participate in the enquiry for four days from 23.05.2022 to 27.05.2022. Subsequently, the matter was adjourned to future date. When the matter taken up for consideration, again there was an allegation that the petitioner did not co-operate for the investigation, when he was present at the office of the respondent and another allegation is that he refused to answer the queries. When the matter came up for hearing on 08.07.2022, this Court directed the petitioner to appear before the respondent on 09.07.2022, 11.07.2022 and 12.07.2022 along with his Accountant, if necessary to produce the documents as sought for. Today, it is reported that the petitioner appeared before the respondent and he had produced some receipts but not all documents.

4. It is to be noted that that the matter relates to defrauding the State to 2/4

the tune of Rs.8.6 crores, in which without prejudice and protest, the petitioner has deposited Rs.1.2 crores in the course of investigation and it appears that as per the direction of this Court, the petitioner attended the enquiry, but he is not fully co-operating with the respondent for investigation.
