ORDER
This writ petition is heard through Video Conferencing, on account of COVID-19 pandemic situation.

This writ petition is filed seeking a mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to conduct his daughter's marriage in Marriage hall on 23.08.2020 as per Guidelines and consequently for a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to permit the bridegroom and his family members to enter Chennai City limits based on the representation of the petitioner dated 31.7.2020.
3. The petitioner, who is a practising Advocate has fixed the marriage of his daughter on 24.08.2020, which falls on Monday i.e. 24.08.2020. The marriage is to be performed at Sri Serndhaiyan Mahal, No.39, 40 & 45 Sri Ganesh Nagar, Jawaharlal Nehru Road, Kolathur, Chennai-99. As the bride groom is residing outside Chennai limits in Arakkonam, the marriage party has to obtain E-Pass to reach the venue even the previous day i.e. 23.08.2020. As there is a total lock down in each of the Sunday till the end of August, 2020, the petitioner has made a representation dated 31.07.2020 to the respondents, for which there is no response, according to him.
4. Ms.S.Vaitheeswari, learned counsel who appears for the first respondent, states that, if the representation is already there or even they make a fresh representation, it will be considered before 12.00 noon tomorrow, i.e. on 22.08.2020 and communicated to the petitioner.
5. Accordingly, the first respondent, namely the Commissioner, Greater Chennai Corporation, is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31.07.2020 or a fresh representation that may be made, pass orders and communicate the same to the petitioner, before 12.00 Noon on 22.08.2020.
5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
