Writ Petition filed under Art.226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Certiorarfied Mandamus, to call for the records on the file of the respondent pertaining to online result of the petitioner in written examination for the post of Sub Inspector of Police (Taluk) bearing Enrolment No.1302522 published on 18.07.2015 and quash the same and direct the respondent to consider the petitioner for selection to the post of Sub Inspector of Police (Taluk) under quota for Ward of serving police Perrsonnel in accordance with law.

O R D E R
The petitioner applied for the post of Sub Inspector of Police, pursuant to the notification, dated 08.02.2015. She participated in the written examination conducted on 23.05.2015. The petitioner belongs to SC Women category. She secured 33.5 marks, while the cut off mark for SC Women category is 41 marks.
2. Heard both sides.
3. The learned Additional Advocate General would submit that since the petitioner has secured less marks than the cut off marks, she is not permitted to go to the second stage of selection. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. I am of the view that the respondent is correct in not permitting the petitioner to participate in the second stage of selection, as she secured marks less than the cut off marks. The writ petition fails and accordingly, the same is dismissed. No costs.
