ORDER
[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's brother detenu viz., C.Vijay, S/o.Chinnadurai, aged about 21 years, before this Court and set him at liberty.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that his elder brother viz., Vijay, aged about 21 years, went missing from 22.07.2020 and his whereabouts are not known. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present habeas corpus petition.
3. Today, Masilamani, Sub-Inspector of Police, Udaiyarpalayam Taluk Police Station, Ariyalur District, appeared via video conferencing. From the police station, the detenu Vijay also appeared via video conferencing.
4. When we enquired Vijay, he stated that he was in love with one Kaviya and since his parents were not agreeable for the marriage, he left home and got married to Kaviya on 10.08.2020. He further stated that he is not in the illegal custody of anyone and he is peacefully living with his wife in Trichy Main Road, Udaiyarpalayam and his mobile number is 6380885217. Recording the same, this habeas corpus petition stands closed.
