PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the records in C.C.B.Crime No.100 of 2022 pending investigation on the file of the Sub Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch EDF-I, Team-I, Chennai, the first respondent herein, and to quash the same.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to call for the records in C.C.B.Crime No.100 of 2022 pending investigation on the file of the first respondent and to quash the same.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent-Police and perused the materials available on record.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for
the first respondent-Police submitted that investigation has been completed and they are ready to file a final report. Despite the completion of investigation, they were unable to file a final report due to the interim stay granted by this Court on 26.04.2023.
4. In view of the above submission, interim stay granted by this Court on 26.4.2023 is hereby vacated. Further, the respondent-Police is directed to file a final report before the Magistrate concerned as early as possible. However, the petitioners are at liberty to work out their remedy before the Trial Court, after filing of the final report by the respondent Police.
5. With the abovesaid direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 04.06.2025 mfa Index:Yes/No Speaking Order: Yes/No
