By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be in possession of the hut bearing Door No.2/189 for more than 50 years and it has also been subjected to statutory levies.

The petitioner submitted a representation dated 10.3.2015 to the respondents praying for grant of free house site patta and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.N.Chinnaraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.RAS.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent.

4.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the same, directs the first respondent to consider and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 10.3.2015, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
