Prayer: This Petition is filed under Section 3,7 to 10 and 25 of Guardian & Wards Act read with Order XXI Rule 2 & 3 of Original Side Rules, also read with Section 17 of Letters Patent Act, praying for the following reliefs: (a) to grant the petitioner, the permanent custody of the person of the minor child S.Rubini born on 26.05.2010 now 10 years old; (b) to appoint the petitioner as a guardian of the person of the minor child S.Rubini;

ORDER

When the matter is taken up today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the respondents submitted that this matter has been settled between the parties amicably before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court, Madras, by virtue of a Settlement Agreement, dated 15.06.2022 entered by both parties duly signed by them along with their respective counsel. Therefore, the learned counsel appearing for both parties would pray this Court to dispose of the Original Petition in terms of the Settlement Agreement dated 15.06.2022.

2. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and since the matter has been settled amicably between the parties, this Original Petition stands disposed of in terms of the Settlement Agreement dated 15.06.2022. The said Settlement Agreement shall form part and parcel of this order. Consequently, connected applications stands closed. 20.06.2022 Pns
