The writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records from the first respondent with reference to the Government Gazette Notification, Kanchipuram District dated 09.04.2010, in so far as it relates to the temple land in Survey No.107 (Part), Siruthamoor Village, Uthiramerur Taluk, Kanchipuram District and quash the same.

learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the proposal for leasing the land in question for stone quarry through tender process, was dropped and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

3. Recording the above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
