This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 13.03.2020, wherein the petitioner has sought for transfer of Patta in his name.

2. The case of the petitioner is that she became the owner of the property through a Settlement Deed executed in her favour by her father on 11.04.2018. According to the petitioner, the Patta stood in the name of the vendor of the petitioner's father. The petitioner submitted an application on 13.03.2020 seeking for the transfer of Patta in her name. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner is before this Court seeking appropriate relief.

3. Mr.Parameswaran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the application submitted by the petitioner has already been taken on file by the respondent and the respondent has fixed the date of enquiry on 03.09.2020. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Taking into consideration the subsequent development, the respondent is directed to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner on 13.03.2020 and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Writ Petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs.
