ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents not to harass the petitioner under the guise of the enquiry in the civil dispute.
2. It is seen that, on the complaint of one Radhika, the petitioner was called for enquiry. The case against the petitioner is that he had received a sum of Rs.4,00,000/- on the promise of selling three cents of land. During the course of enquiry, it was found that not only from the complainant, but the petitioner had also collected amount form various other persons. The petitioner had sought time to repay the defacto complainant and resolve the issue. However, instead of doing so, he has filed the present petition.
3. In view of the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the view that calling the petitioner for enquiry cannot be termed as harassment. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 15-04-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order PVS
