ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.T.Nagarajan, the petitioner appearing in person.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the bus routes of Bus No.56J, 121D are permanently cancelled. Only one bus of 56J is provided to one section of the employees. The senior citizens and advocates from Manali New Town are not finding seats in the bus from Minjur, which is coming with full capacity of passengers because of which the passengers suffer much physical strain. The respondent is bound to provide public transport to senior citizens and the advocates.

3. The communication it appears between the petitioner and the respondent is of April 2021, of course, during the Covid times. More than two years have lapsed. Naturally, the Corporation is required to consider the passenger patronage and all other aspects so also the necessity of the citizens of the particular locality.

4. As the communication between the parties is more than two years old, the petitioner may file a fresh representation with the respondent, which the respondent shall consider on its own merits. With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
