By consent the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be the owner of the property admeasuring to an extent of 27 cents in S.No.148/4 situated at Minjur Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District, through a registered sale deed bearing Document No.3208/1985, dated 09.10.1985, on the file of the Sub-Registrar, Ponneri. The petitioner, after the said purchase, submitted an application, dated 28.5.2015, in proper formate to the first respondent praying for issuance of patta and it was forwarded to the Tahsildar, Ponneri, vide letter of the first respondent dated 3.6.2015 in Na.Ka.No.2582/2015/A1, for taking appropriate action and since the petitioner has not been favoured with any response, came forward to file this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.P.Krishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer and without going into the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application/representation dated 28.5.2015, in accordance with law, after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
