ORDER

The petitioner was working as Salesman in TASMAC Shop No.1625 in Coimabtore. According to him, he suddenly fell ill and he was taking treatment from 14.02.2010 and thereafter, he returned to duty on 18.06.2010.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he sent various representations to provide him employment, he is not provided with employment. Hence he has filed this writ petition to issue direction to the respondent to reinstate him in service as a Salesman in the TASMAC Shop with continuity of service, backwages and all other attendant benefits.

At the time of hearing the writ petition, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner may be permitted to make a fresh representation to the respondent and on receipt of such representation, the respondent could be directed to dispose of the same within a stipulated period.

4. In view of the narrow prayer made, the petitioner is permitted to make a fresh representation to the respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the respondent is directed to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, in the light of the facts stated above, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the representation. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
