ORDER
This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry in connection with the complaint filed by Jaikumar regarding his family issue. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was summoned by the respondent police for enquiry with regard to the complaint given by one Jaikumar against his wife namely Priyadharshini wherein, the petitioner's name was also included alleging that she was having illegal affair with him. The petitioner attended the enquiry and he was verbally abused. He further submitted that there is no relationship between the petitioner and Priyadharshini. In this regard, the petitioner gave a representation dated 25.03.2026 to the first respondent police requesting them not to harass him.
Since no action has been taken, the present petition has been filed. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the defacto complainant husband gave a complaint against his wife Priyadharshini alleging that his wife was having illegal affair with the petitioner. Based on the said complaint, the petitioner was called for enquiry and CSR No.206 of 2026 assigned. He further submitted that summons was not served to the petitioner.
4.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to serve summons to the petitioner and call for enquiry. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
