ORDER

The petitioner was a Salesman in TASMAC shop. He was terminated from service by an order dated 30.06.2015 after holding an enquiry. The petitioner made an appeal dated 17.07.2015 before the second respondent against the order of the third respondent, terminating him from service. The writ petition is filed to quash the termination order dated 30.06.2015.

2.At the time of hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the appellate authority may be directed to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a stipulated period.

3.In view of the narrow prayer made, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal dated 17.07.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
