O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the 5th respondent to provide police protection to the petitioners and their property by considering their complaint dated 26.09.2021.

2. It is the contention of learned counsel appearing for petitioners that there is a dispute between landlord and tenant and they are residing in the rear portion. Whereas the 6th respondent is frequently threatening the petitioner.

3. In such view of the matter, this Court is of the view that mere such allegation, blanket order of police protection cannot be granted. If any law and order issue arises or violence unleashed against the petitioners, liberty is granted to them to file appropriate complaint before the respondent police. On such complaint being filed, the 5th respondent finds any cognizable offence is made out, they have to proceed as per law. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
