ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to give a police protection to the petitioners based upon the complaint dated 11.04.2019.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that 1st petitioner is sister of the 2nd petitioner. The petitioners were in possession and enjoyment of the properties situated in S.No.46 of 2008 to an extent of 4 acres in Eddayar Village account, Udayarpalayam taluk, Ariyalur District.
One Vairam W/o. Periyasami was interfering with the possession and enjoyment of the petitioners' property . Therefore, the petitioners gave representation to the Thasildhar of Udayarpalayam requesting him to remove the name Vairam and to issue a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
join patta in their name. Since the same was not considered, the petitioners filed Writ Petition in W.P.No.33006 of 2018. According to the learned counsel this Court has disposed of the Writ petition by issuing direction to the Thasildhar to pass an order on the petitioners representation within a period of twelve weeks. Since the said Vairam continue to threaten the petitioners they have lodged a complaint dated 11.04.2019 to the third respondent police seeking police protection. Since no action was taken on the said complaint, the petitioners, the petitioners have filed the present petition with the aforesaid prayer.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the the petitioner seeks police protection for his property.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioners are directed to lodge a complaint before the third respondent. On receipt of the same, the third respondent is directed to conduct enquiry after giving due opportunity to the petitioners and the counter party and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
