ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 296(b), 115(2) and 351(2) of BNS, in Crime No.0022 of 2026, on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the occurrence took place on 09.03.2026 and that an FIR was registered on 14.03.2026.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the injured has sustained severe injury and apart from that, he would further submit that the petitioner has got one previous case.

4. At this juncture, Mr.R.Dinesh Kumar, learned counsel for the defacto complainant/Intervenor would produce the photographs of the defacto complainant, who had sustained serious injury on his leg and also a fracture in his leg.

5. In view of the fact that serious injuries sustained by the defacto complainant and further the fact that the petitioner has got one previous case, this Court is of the firm view that the petitioner has misused the liberty granted by this Court and has involved in similar types of offence. Hence, he does not deserve anticipatory bail.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 06.04.2026 dna
