This Court, while disposing of the writ petition on 04.06.2025, directed the Superintendent of Police, Tiruvarur District, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Tiruvarur District and the Investigating Officer of the second respondent/Police Station to appear before this Court today i.e., on 09.06.2025.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the above mentioned officials have appeared before this Court in person. 2/4

The learned State Public Prosecutor appearing for the second respondent-Police submitted that investigation in Crime No.27 of 2010 has been completed and charge sheet has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruthuraipoondi and the same was taken on file in PRC No.39 of 2025 on 01.06.2025 and he has also filed a status report with regard to the same. The same is recorded. Personal appearance of the aforementioned officials are dispensed with.
