..Respondent(s) Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in survey No.38/3 house site property measuring to an extent of 0.116 cents situated at colony Natham at Alangiri Village, Ulundurpet Taluk, Kallakurichi District and thereby considering the Petitioner representation dated 24.01.2023.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.01.2023.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner has given a representation dated 24.01.2023 to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in survey No.38/3 house site property measuring to an extent of 0.116 cents situated at colony Natham at Alangiri Village, Ulundurpet Taluk, Kallakurichi District. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondents, as on date. Hence, this petition.

3. In reply, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 24.01.2023 will be disposed of by the second respondent within a period of 6 weeks.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the entire materials available on record.

5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.01.2023 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
