This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register an FIR on the petitioners' complaint dated 17.08.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioners, petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.179 of 2015 before the second respondent.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry expeditiously and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
