ORDER

This Criminal Original petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 1st respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.464 of 2022 on the file of 2nd respondent police to CBCID, Chennai.

2. Today, when the matter taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for petitioner would submit that on perusal of averments in the affidavit, it would be revealed that the prayer was to transfer the investigation in Crime No.225 of 2022, which is relating to custodial death of his father to the file of CBCID.

3. Learned Addl. Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents produced the copy of proceedings dated 02.05.2022 and submitted that already the said F.I.R. in Crime No.225 of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2022 has been transferred to the file of CBCID, Chennai for further investigation. He would also submit that after the transfer, the CBCID has also re-registered the case as Crime No.2 of 2022 on 05.05.2022 and the matter is under investigation.
