This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned 1st Additional Sub-Court, Salem, to dispose the case in S.C.No.371 of 2018, within stipulated period. 2.

Heard Mr.M.Mohamed Saifulla, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. The petitioner is facing trial for offences under Sections 147, 341, 307 and 506(ii) of IPC and Final report has been filed in the year 2018 itself and the charges have also been framed. The Court below is yet to start the trial.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned 1st Additional Sub-Court, Salem is directed to complete the proceedings in S.C.No.371 of 2018, within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
