W.M.P.No.1589 of 2017 RAJIV SHAKDHER,J.

1. The only prayer made in the captioned petition is that this Court may give permission to the petitioners to file a single Writ Petition.

2. It is stated that the petitioner Nos.1 and 2 are related and, that, both are presently lodged in Central Prison, Puzhal. 2.1. It is further stated that cash was found in the premises of petitioner No.2, which led to initiation of proceedings under the provisions of Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002.

3. It is, broadly, in this circumstance, that the prayer, as set out above, has been made.

4. Issue notice. Ms.Hema Muralikrishnan accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

5. Learned counsel says that she does not wish to file a reply. Learned counsel also does not oppose the prayer made.

6. Accordingly, the prayer is allowed.

7. The Registry is directed to number the Writ Petition, if it is otherwise in order, and list the same before the Court on 27.01.2017. sl 23.01.2017
