(The case has been heard through video conference) The relief sought for by the petitioner in the present writ petition is to direct the respondents to consider the application dated 29.05.2018 filed by her for electricity connection to her residential premises and to supply electricity, within a time frame fixed by this Court.
2. The case of the petitioner is that she had submitted an application form dated 29.05.2018 along with Indemnity Bond and copies of the relevant documents such as Voter ID, Ration Card,
and Nativity Certificate to the second respondent, for electricity connection to her residential premises, however, the same was not yet considered by the second respondent. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition before this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner made an application to the second respondent, for electricity connection, however, the same was not yet considered by the second respondent. He therefore prays this Court to issue appropriate direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's application and to pass orders.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has not submitted the aforesaid relevant documents as she stated in her affidavit. He would further submit that if the petitioner submits a fresh application along with the relevant documents, before the second respondent through online, the same would be duly considered by the second respondent.
5. Heard the learned counsel on both sides.
6. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on both sides, this Court issues the following directions: (i) The petitioner is directed to submit a fresh application along with the relevant documents to the second respondent through online.
(ii) On receipt of such application, the second respondent is directed to consider the same and give electricity connection to the petitioner's residential premises, as expeditiously as possible.
7. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
