Respondent Prayer:- The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application dated 06.03.2019 for replacement of Mini Bus TN-24/X-4892 by a New Mini Bus, permitted to ply on the route Hosur Bus Stand to A.Samanpalli, forthwith.

Mr.M.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The prayer in the Writ Petition is for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application, dated 06.03.2019 for replacement of Mini Bus TN-24/X-4892 by a New Mini Bus, permitted to ply on the route Hosur Bus Stand to A.Samanpalli, forthwith.

3. According to the petitioner, he made an application on 06.03.2019, for replacement of Mini Bus bearing No.TN-24/X-4892 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

by a New Mini Bus, permitted to ply on the route Hosur Bus Stand to A.Samanpalli. However, so far, no order has been passed. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the application of the petitioner dated 06.03.2019 will be considered by the respondent, by following the relevant Act and guidelines of the Motor Vehicles Act.

5. In the light of the submissions and also considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court, without going into merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 06.03.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that the respondent shall consider the application of the petitioner, dated 06.03.2019, by strictly following the relevant rules and Act and guidelines of the Government.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There is no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
