Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for the issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to conduct a comprehensive enquiry and investigation into the illegal corrections carried out in the original records of the case in O.S.No.105 of 2003 on the file of the Sub-Court, Tiruppur, Tiruppur District and consequently, take action against the erring Court Staffs, fifth respondent herein and other concerned persons in accordance with law.

O R D E R

(delivered by SATISH K. AGNIHOTRI,J.,) With the consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The only relief sought in this instant petition is to direct the official respondents to conduct a detailed comprehensive enquiry and investigation, in respect of the allegations of tampering of the Court's records in O.S.No.105 of 2003 on the file of the SubCourt, Tiruppur.

3. All the records have been summoned and placed before the Registrar General, High Court of Judicature at Madras, Chennai.

4. At this stage, we are not inclined to make any observation in respect of the dispute. The interest of Justice will be subserved, by directing the Registrar General to examine the records, make appropriate enquiry and if necessary, take consequential action against the erring officials, in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
