2. This petition is filed to issue a writ mandamus directing the respondent to regularize the petitioner's service in the post of Driver from the date of the petitioner's first appointment dated 01.06.2002 and to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 26.08.2013.

Though the petitioner seeks regularisation of his service in the post of Driver from the date of his first appointment in the year 2002, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 26.08.2013, within a time stipulated by this Court.

4. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer that is now sought by the petitioner's counsel, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.08.2013, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the same to the petitioner.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
