Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to approve the appointment of the petitioner in the post of B.T.Assistant (English) with effect from the date of initial appointment (i.e., 13.06.2012) without insisting qualification of TET as a mandatory requirement for appointment and to extend all benefits both service and monetary thereto in the light of the Judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court reported in 2014-4-MLJ 486.

ORDER

Had the petitioner been denied approval of appointment in the post of B.T.Assistant (English) on the ground that he does not possess qualification of TET, this Court would have issued a direction to the respondents to grant temporary approval. However, apart from not possessing the qualification TET, when the petitioner was appointed as a B.T.Assistant (English) he passed B.A.(English) of one year course. Hence, the petitioner is not entitled for any relief in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
