Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders in compliance of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 on the petition/representation dated 20.07.2020 filed by the petitioner for cancelling the "Settlement Pathiram" dated 05.03.2020 registered as document No.1669/2020 before the 1st respondent.

This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders in compliance of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 on the petition/representation dated 20.07.2020 filed by the petitioner for cancelling the "Settlement deed" dated 05.03.2020 registered as document No.1669/2020 before the 1st respondent.

3. This Court, while hearing the matter for admission, issued notice to the 3rd respondent and Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader took notice for the first respondent and Mr.T.M.Pappaiah, learned Special Government Pleader took notice for the second respondent. After notice, the matter is taken up for further hearing today. The 3rd respondent was served, however, there is no appearance for him.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner, on the other hand, submitted that after receipt of the notice from this Court, the 3rd respondent executed the cancellation deed, registered as Document No.4508/2020 before the Sub-Registrar Office, Thiruvottiyur, dated 11.09.2020. Therefore, she submitted that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.

5. Recording the above said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
