Original petition praying that this Hon'ble Court please to issue the Letters of Administration to the property and credits of the deceased, N.Thilagam to have effect limited to the State of Tamil Nadu may be granted in favour of the First Petitioner, R.Devarajan.

This Original Petition coming on this day before this Court for hearing, the Court made the followings order:- The petitioners seek issuance of Letters of Administration in respect of the estate of the deceased N.Thilagam who died intestate on 19.04.2017.

2. According to the petitioners they are the ClassII heirs of the deceased N.Thilagam. Her husband P.N.Chandrasekaran pre-deceased her on 31.12.1993. The 1st petitioner R.Devarajan has been examined as PW1. He has produced the the death certificate of N.Thilagam as Ex.P1 and the death certificate of P.N.Chandrasekaran as Ex.P2. The death certificate of Anusuya who is the younger sister of N.Thilagam has been produced as Ex.P3. The petitioners 2 to 6 have given their consent affidavits expressing their no objection for grant of Letters of Administration in favour of the 1st petitioner.

3. Publication has been made and no objections have been received.

4. In the light of the above evidence, the 1st petitioner is entitled to Letters of Administration in respect of the estate of the deceased N.Thilagam. Hence, this Original Petition is allowed granting Letters of Administration in favour of the 1st petitioner. The 1st petitioner shall execute a security bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only) in favour of the Assistant Registrar (O.S.II), High Court, Madras.
