O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to survey the petitioner's property measuring an extent of 26 cents comprised in S.No.270, Okkiam Duraipakkam Village, Shozinganallur Taluk, Kancheepuram District and to issue patta, chitta and other relevant revenue records in the petitioner's name in respect of the said property.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he has given representations dated 09.06.2016 and 08.07.2016 to the 3rd respondent to survey the land and to issue patta, however, the 3rd respondent has not considered the same yet.

3. Ms. A. Madhumathi, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents, submitted that the petitioner has not paid the necessary charges for surveying the land and also he has not submitted the application in an appropriate form.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader, I give liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh application in the prescribed form and also to pay the necessary charges for surveying the land and on submission of the application along with necessary charges, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's request and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, as expeditiously as possible.

With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
