ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 109, 34, 419, 465, 467, 468, 471 IPC in Crime No.24 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for State. 3.Earlier when the matter came up for consideration before this Court, this Court has passed a detailed order on 21.04.2022 extracting incriminating materials against this petitioner and need for custodial interrogation of the petitioner for absconding with the proceeds of the crime.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to co-operate with the investigation and already 90 days has lapsed after registering the case. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that this petitioner who was absconded with the crime proceeds, has now been traced near Nagarcoil and the police are nearing them. Unless they are secured, they cannot recover the crime proceeds. 6.This Court finds that the absconding accused cannot take such a plea. The abscondence of the petitioner herein in fact delays in investigation and filing the final report in time. 7.It is the case where more than Rs.2 crores alleged to have been cheated by fabricated documents and evidence sofar collected indicates impersonation and fabrication of documents by this petitioner. The crime proceeds also yet to be traced. 8.In such circumstances, this Court finds no merits in the anticipatory bail petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
