The writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus against the 1st and 2nd respondents to recover a sum of Rs.98,658/- as on 30.04.2016 which according to the petitioner are dues payable to the petitioner for loans advanced. There are specific provisions under the TNCS Act, 1973 2/4

to enforce such payment. The jurisdiction of a Writ Court under Section 226 is extremely narrow, particularly on issues relating to contract and agreement.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner is absent and he was also absent on the previous hearing date and the matter is posted today under the caption "for dismissal".
