O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to alter the FIR in crime No.134 of 2015 by including one Viswanathan on the basis of the petitioner's complaint in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that, initially the FIR was registered for offences under Section 294[b], 336, 427, 506[i] IPC. Thereafter, during the course of investigation, an alteration report including Section 307 IPC has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Virudhachalam on 30.06.2015. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. It is the grievance of the petitioner that one Viswanathan has to be included as an accused.

5. Direction of such a nature cannot be granted under Section 482 Cr.P.C. However, during the course of investigation, if the involvement of the said Viswanathan comes to light, it is needless to say that the police should include him in the final report. This Court further directs the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Tittakudi to monitor the investigation in Crime No.134 of 2015 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, Veppur Police Station, Cuddalore District.
