Hariharan and Minor J. Keerthy that they belong to Kurumans (ST) community based upon the community certificate possessed by the petitioner and his close blood relatives.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by SATISH K. AGNIHOTRI, J.) With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

The instant writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to issue Kurumans Scheduled Tribe community certificate to the petitioner's children, viz., Minor J. Hariharan and Minor J. Keerthi, on the basis of the community certificate issued in favour of the petitioner and his close blood relatives, by the competent officers.

Mrs. A. Srijayanthi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submits that pursuant to the petitioner's application, a notice was issued on 6th May 2015 directing the petitioner to appear for an enquiry on 11th May 2015 at 11.00 a.m. The petitioner failed to appear for the enquiry and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

produce relevant documents. Thereafter, one more notice was sent on 12th June 2015, calling upon the petitioner to appear for enquiry on 16th June 2015 at 11.00 a.m. Despite the aforestated two notices, the petitioner has not come forward to participate in the enquiry along with all the relevant documents.

Be that as it may, the petitioner is obliged to appear before the Enquiry Officer. Accordingly, it is ordered that the petitioner shall appear before the Enquiry Officer on the 18th instant, with all the relevant documents. Thereafter, the respondent is directed to examine the petitioner's application in the light of the documents and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks.

The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. Costs made easy.
