PRAYER: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to pass orders on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 24.10.2016 for grant of patta to the property situated in Door No.191/13, comprised in Old Survey No.93/2, New Survey No.127/1, Kilathur Village, Thiruvannamalai Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District in her name.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner and to grant patta in her favour.

The learned Special Government Pleader on instructions submitted that the representation made by the petitioner has been rejected by proceedings dated 03.09.2020 of the 2nd respondent on the ground that the property in question has been categorized as a water body.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that no such order has been communicated to the petitioner till now. 4.

The learned Special Government Pleader is directed to serve a copy of the order to the learned counsel for the petitioner in order to enable the petitioner to work out her remedy in accordance with law.

In view of the above development, no further orders can be passed in this writ petition and it is left open to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
