ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent to consider the representation dated 31.01.2023 seeking to correct the petitioner's name in the allotment order dated 16.03.1988 in respect of the aforesaid property.

2. Mrs.K.Indumathy Venkatesh, learned standing counsel for the respondent takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that he was allotted a housing flat by the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board vide allotment order wherein, the petitioner's name has been wrongly mentioned as Daniel S/o Vajravel instead of Tamilmani S/o Vajravel. In order to rectify the said error, the petitioner has made a representation dated 31.01.2023. However, the said representation is still pending consideration. Hence, this Writ Petition has been filed.

Though very many grounds have been raised, however, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the Respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.01.2023 seeking to rectify the error made in the allotment order and pass orders on merits within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent has no objection to the said order being passed.

6. In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.01.2023 seeking to rectify the error made in the allotment order as to the petitioner's name and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date receipt of a copy of this order.
