ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who was arrested on 03.10.2020 for the offence under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B), 25 and 29(1) of NDPS Act in Crime No.1169 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police [C.C.No.97 of 2021 on the file of I Additional Special Court under NDPS Act, Chennai], seeks bail.

2.This Court vide order dated 15.06.2022 directed the Registry to get instructions from the competent Trial Court, as to how much time period is required to conclude the Trial. Pursuant to the same, the learned I Additional Judge, I Additional Special Court under NDPS Act, Chennai, has sent letter dated 22.06.2022 to the Registry stating that the trial would be concluded expeditiously within a period of six months.

3.In view of the above, this Court directs the learned I Additional Judge, I Additional Special Court under NDPS Act, Chennai, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to conclude the trial in C.C.No.97 of 2021, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.This criminal original petition is accordingly disposed of. -sd/- 28/06/2022 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
