Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of mandamus forbearing the respondents 1 to 3 from in any manner acting in terms of the order dated 02.05.2018 of the second respondent made in I.A.No.16/2018 in O.A.No.7 of 2018 till the disposal of the above revision petition in R.P.RC.No.24846/2018 filed on 07.05.2018 by the first respondent within a time fixed by this Court.

O R D E R
The grievance of the writ petitioner is that he has filed a revision petition under Section 21 of the Tamilnadu Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments Act before the first respondent on 07.05.2018.
2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner states that the impugned order passed by the second respondent dated 02.05.2018 is per se illegal and in the event of not granting any interim order in respect of the impugned order passed by the second respondent, much prejudice would be caused to the writ petitioner as well as to the nearby villagers.
3. The learned counsel is of an opinion that the applications filed seeking interim orders against the impugned order of the second respondent dated 02.05.2018, should be considered without any further delay and the main revision petition shall be considered thereafter, by providing an opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned.
4. Further, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the first respondent/Commissioner, HR & CE Department is also on vacation in respect of hearing of the revision petitions.
5. In view of the fact that certain urgency is raised by the writ petitioner, the Commissioner, HR & CE Department is directed to decide the interim applications in respect of the impugned order of the second respondent dated 02.05.2018 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the Commissioner is at liberty to deal with the main revision petition in due course by providing an opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned.
5. It is made clear that till the interim applications are taken up for hearing, the impugned order passed by the second respondent in I.A. No.16 of 2018 in O.A.No.7 of 2018 dated 02.05.2018 is kept in abeyance.
6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
