This application is filed to pass an interim decree against the 1st defendant in favour of the plaintiff herein for a sum of Rs.1,30,00,000/- being an admitted liability at paragraph No.6 of the written statement filed by the 1st defendant which reads as below:- "6. The 1st defendant further submits that the claim made by the plaintiff in the above suit is unreasonable and the 1st defendant is prepared to settle the amount originally agreed between the plaintiff and the 1st defendant for a sum of Rs.1,30,00,000/- at the time of release of the film theatrically and also prepared to pay the amount from and out of the profits realized in the event of the film is released through OTT platform"

2. The learned counsel for the 1st defendant affirms the statement made in the written statement and states that before theatrical release of the movie "ANDAVA KAANOOMM" a sum of Rs.1,30,00,000/- will be paid to the plaintiff and balance amount will be paid from and out of profits realized. 1/3

In view of the said admission, the interim decree for a sum of Rs.1,30,00,000/- is passed, which shall be paid by the 1st defendant not later than a day before the release of the movie "ANDAVA KAANOOMM" in theatre or any other mode. In all other aspects, the order passed by this Court, on 05.08.2021, shall continue.
