Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to issue patta in the petitioner name for the house site at S.No.352/3 Sirukalathur Village, Sriperumpudhur Taluk Kancheepuram District to an extent of 805 Sq.Ft by considering the petitioner representation dated 03.07.2015.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner claims to have purchased a house-site admeasuring to an extent of 805 sq.ft., in S.No.352/3, Sirukalathur Village, Sriperumpudhur Taluk, Kancheepuram District through a registered sale deed dated 08.04.2014 registered on the file of the Sub-Registrar at Kundrathur. For the purpose of constructing a house, he needed planning approval and for that he was advised to get patta and immediately, the petitioner approached the third respondent in the form of representation dated 03.07.2015 for grant of patta and since he has not been favoured with any kind of response, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.R.Jayaprakash, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3.
4.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the representation made by the petitioner, directs the third respondent to consider and dispose of the representation/ application dated 03.07.2015 in accordance with law after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as the persons concerned.
