PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Court Act, praying to prosecute and punish the respondent for wilful disobedience and flouted the orders of this Court in Crl.O.P.No.24517 of 2019 dated 12.09.2019, even after having the knowledge of Court. ORDER
The present petition is filed against the order of this Court directing the respondent police to file a final report within a stipulated time.
2. Today, when the matter was called, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) produced a copy of the final report dated 04.11.2020, wherein, further action on the petitioner's FIR No.1226/2017 was dropped and the same was also intimated to the complainant.
3. In view of the same, this Court is of the view that the disobedience alleged on the side of the respondent is not wilful in nature and hence, the present Contempt Petition stands closed.
