Respondents Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to direct the 1st respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members in any manner with respect to the civil dispute relating to the agricultural lands measuring 1.25.00 Hectares, comprised in S.No.202/12, Patta No.13, Ayan Thathanur Village, Senthurai Taluk, Ariyalur District, which is the subject matter of the suit O.S.No.175 of 2017 on the file of the learned District Munsif, Ariyalur and W.P.No.29146 of 2017.

ORDER

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that the son of the complainant has given a complaint against one Panchavarnam, based on which, a petition enquiry was conducted in C.S.R.No.37 of 2018 and that there is no case registered against the petitioner. 2.In such view of the matter, the petitioner is directed to co-operate with the police in the enquiry in C.S.R.No.37 of 2018 and during the enquiry, the petitioner shall not be harassed. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out against the petitioner, it is open to the respondent police to take necessary action and include the petitioner as accused in accordance with law.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
