We are informed that after the unsuccessful attempts of the owners, an endeavour was made through the tenant to frustrate the de-occupation notice by challenging it in appeal and since no stay had been granted, the Division Bench was approached in WP.No.26646 of 2015. In those proceedings, status quo order is stated to have been issued till the disposal of the appeal. It is however stated that the tenant had actually vacated the property on 27.08.2015. Learned Government Pleader states that the appeal will be taken immediately. It is also open to the Corporation, if so advised, to file a review application bringing all facts to the notice of the Division Bench which passed the order.
