ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition filed seeking a direction, to consider the petitioner representation letter dated 23.06.2021 in accordance with law and to direct the first and second respondents to give adequate police protection to the petitioner and save her life.

2.The petitioner, who fell in love with one Kumaresan. Both of them belongs to different community, which was opposed by the petitioner's family members. In the meanwhile, the said Kumaresan got married to another lady by name Pavithra on 03.06.2020 and this marriage was performed without the consent of Pavithra and Kumaresan, therefore, they are living separately. The petitioner, taking advantage of the situation, continued to live with the said Kumaresan and the same was objected by the petitioner's parents and her relatives. The petitioner received so many threats to kill her and called her through his mobile saying that she would be done away. Hence, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

she sent representations to the Police Authorities through Email, dated 22.03.2021 for seeking police protection and the same was read on 23.06.2021.

3.The fifth respondent is the father of the petitioner and the third and fourth respondents are relatives of the petitioner. The second respondent received a complaint from the fifth respondent/father of the petitioner by stating that her daughter was missing from 16.06.2021 and the same was taken in CSR.No.327 of 2021. In this regard, the petitioner was called for enquiry, during the enquiry, it revealed that on certain terms, she left the home and informed that she is residing only with the said Kumaresan. Further, she informed that she is a major and on her own volition she left the parental home. Now, she is not under forcible detention or custody or anybody else. Recording the same, the CSR was closed.

4.The petitioner sent a complaint dated 22.06.2021. In the complaint the address of the fifth respondent/father of the petitioner has been wrongly mentioned and the contact number furnished therein is found to be switched off. The number given in the complaint does not belongs to the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent/police and produce the details of the threatening messages and whatsapp messages in support of her complaint on or before 12.07.2021, to produce any other materials to the second respondent.

5.With the above observations, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
